Fr. Paddy Kilcoyne R.I.P.

Back 20/06/2020 @ 09:45 | mainnews | Fr. Paddy Kilcoyne R.I.P.
It is with regret that the Gaels of Sligo learned of the death of Fr. Paddy Kilcoyne.  Fr. Paddy was a member of the Kilcoyne family of Tubbercurry, a family that has contributed  so much to the G.A.A.over the years. He played football for St.Nathy’s College, Ballaghderreen, the Tubbercurry GAA Club and Co. Sligo Minors.

He was ordained a priest 53 years ago and served mostly in parishes in Co. Mayo. While serving as Parish Priest in Coolaney during the 90's he was involved in the Coolaney/Mullinabreena and St. Nathy's Clubs.  His loyalty to Tubbercurry and Sligo football never waned.  He was to be seen at all matches in which either team participated.

We offer our sympathy to the Kilcoyne Family
