#GoThe Extra Mile Cancer Fundraiser
Many thanks to everybody who supported this very worthy charity event which raised the huge sum of E32,000 for the Sligo Cancer Support Group. The event was organised by Brian Mc Gowan and Paul Mc Namara of St Johns GAA and Sean Power and Niall Canning of Drumcliffe-Rosses Point GAA. The lads got great help from the members of both clubs and from their communities and local businesses and it brought both sets of communities closer together. The fundraising was greatly helped by the many members and former members of both clubs who are now dispersed all over the world. To everyone who helped out in any way we say "MILE BUIOCHAS GO  LEIR"
