Our senior men's footballers remain unbeaten in the championship after playing out another draw in the group stages - this time on Friday evening against Shamrock Gaels. In the end, the lads did well to earn a point as they were points down (0-7 to 0-4) at the end of the second-half water break. But they managed to produced three good scores to level the game - and there were chances to win it in the closing stages. The match was streamed live by Sligo GAA - and you can watch it back in full on the Sligo GAA YouTube channel.

Our women's intermediate footballers collected their first win of the Connacht Gold Championship on Sunday morning with an impressive 2-17 to 2-4 win away to Cloonacool. It was a fine display by Barry O'Sullivan's team and came just seven days after the side lost by a single point to Eastern Harps in their opening group game.

The DRP minor girls footballers began their 'A' championship campaign last Tuesday evening in Enniscrone with an emphatic 11-7 to 4-13 success against Eoghan Rua.

The boys minors recorded their second win of the 'B' championship on Wednesday evening with a 3-14 to 0-11 win against Easkey/St Farnan's in Dromore West.

Hard luck to Benbulben Gaels minor hurlers who were beaten by Easkey in their opening championship game last Monday by 3-18 to 5-7.

It's two wins out of two in the championship for Tom O'Boyle's side after the DRP u-16 girls backed up their win against CT Gaels last week with a 6-15 to 1-7 victory over Calry/St Joseph's in Hazelwood. The girls next take on St Mary's on Thursday evening in Kent Park.

Hard luck to boys under-16 footballers who lost out by a single point to Owenmore Gaels Oxfield on Friday evening in their latest championship game, losing on a final scoreline of 4-8 to 1-16.

Our under-14 girls footballers lost an exciting game away to St John's in their championship game at the weekend. The final score was: St John's 9-6 DRP 4-15.

Our boys under-14 team were well beaten by an impressive Eastern Harps team during the week, losing by 8-14 to 1-7.

Well played to the DRP under-12 hurlers who played out an exciting draw with St Molaise Gaels on Tuesday evening.

Our girls under-12 footballers had a convincing win against St John's last Friday. They host Coolera/Strandhill at Oxfield this coming Friday evening at 7pm in round 3 of the league.
