Team news:

The Intermediate team played Bunninadden away from home on Saturday evening in the second round of the league. Despite going into the lead early they finished losing to a strong Bunninadden side. Full time score 2-17 to 2-13. They now prepare for the final of the West Division Senior Spring League on Friday evening next, 27th May against St. Farnan’s in Templeboy. Throw in is at 8pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

On Friday evening, the Junior team came from behind at half time to record a good win at home, against Owenmore Gaels finishing 2-11 to 1-6. Next game is scheduled for Sunday 5th June at home to Calry/St. Joseph’s.

Our U15’s play Calry/St. Joseph’s in the Expert Electrical Sligo B football league semi-final next Sunday, 29th May. Thrown-in is at 12.00pm in Quigabar.

Our U13’s play their final round of the B football league on Friday evening 27th May away to Owenmore Gaels. Throw-in in Connolly Park is 6.30pm.

Best of luck to the Sligo Minors and our club player, Ethan Carden who play Galway, in the Minor Football Championship semi-final on Friday evening next.

Best of luck also, to Ciaran O’Dowd and all the Sligo Senior team as they prepare for their first game in the Tailteann Cup with a home game against London on Saturday evening, 28th May, in Markievicz Park.

Congrats to John Paul Carden and Greg Regan, who lined out for the Sligo Masters on Wednesday evening last in Tulsk against Roscommon Masters.
