Best of luck to our three minor footballers, Rían O'Callaghan, Joe Campbell and Donnchadh O'Brien who are part of the Sligo minor football team taking on Galway in this Friday evening's Connacht semi-final in Tuam. The game is being streamed live by Connacht GAA from 7pm.
Best of luck to Stephen Regan and the Sligo senior football team in this Saturday's Tailteann Cup game v London at Markievicz Park. Good luck too to our club players involved with Sligo LGFA county team in their opening All-Ireland intermediate championship group game against Laois next Sunday in Keash at 2pm. Sligo are in a three-team group along with Tyrone and Laois. The top two will qualify for All-Ireland quarter-finals.
Well done to the DRP members of the Sligo under-15 hurling team who beat Wicklow in Abbotstown last Saturday by 5-7 to 2-10. The club players involved were: Thomas O'Brien, Darragh Moran, Hugh Óg Arnold and Andoni Oskoz Beglane.
Our Division 1 women's team (pictured) had an excellent over Spring League winners St Mary's on Sunday morning at Kent Park in Div 1 of the Connacht Gold League, winning by 7-12 to 4-9. We'd like to extend our very best wishes to Sinead Regan, Eimear Colreavy and Grace Casserly, who head to Boston this week for the summer. We look forward to welcoming the Brady twins Molly and Megan back to the panel too.

Hard luck to our junior women's who lost out to St Mary's in their Division 4 game by 3-9 to 2-7 on Sunday morning. They play St Nathy's this Saturday evening in Oxfield at 7pm.
Our senior men's footballers picked up their second win of the new Furey's Coaches SFL Division 2 campaign on Saturday evening with a 3-11 to 2-11 victory away to Easkey. A last-minute goal from Paul Logan helped DRP secure the win and the league points. The win takes DRP top of Division 2 although it's still very early days with just two rounds of matches completed. Next up for the seniors is the final of the Senior Spring League (North Division) against Coolera/Strandhill, which takes place on Sunday afternoon in Ransboro. Throw-in: 4:30pm.
Our junior men's footballers lost out to Coolera/Strandhill in Division 4A at Ransboro on Friday evening, on a final scoreline of 4-12 to 0-11.
Our boys under 13 football teams have midweek matches away to Shamrock Gaels. Our 2010 team are in action on Tuesday evening, while our 2009 team travel to Coola on Wednesday evening.
