Development Squads Coaches

Background;

Sligo GAA Underage Development sets out to support and develop players to achieve their full potential. This is currently facilitated via development squads and coaching supports for clubs. The holder of these positions will report to the Games Development Officer and the Sligo Underage Football Development Governance Committee. This is a great opportunity to work with young talented footballers in top class facilities and avail of high level coaching supports and learning opportunities.

Objectives;

The primary objectives of Sligo Underage Football Development Squad Coaches are;

(1)   To oversee the development of underage players and to deliver a consistent approach to all players in terms of individual and team development.

(2)   To co-ordinate and deliver, a high quality coaching programme for the Sligo underage Development GAA Squads in accordance with our development and performance philosophy.

Appointment is on a voluntary basis for a period of 12 months and will be based on qualifications and experience.
