All Ireland Champion
Congratulations to Cormac Finn who claimed the All Ireland Minor title last Saturday in a exhilarating match. Kyle Jordan battled hard throughout and was brilliant but Cormac held his nerve to claim the victory. The win is also a special moment for the Finn family who are massively involved with Ballymote and Sligo GAA and Handball. Enjoy every minute Cormac. Fantastic achievement.
Commiserations to Karley Cooney who was defeated in her minor final on Sunday to Emer Barron of Kilkenny.
Philly McGuinness final:
Hard luck to the Sligo U20 team who were defeated by Westmeath in the Philly McGuinness League final last week. The Club was represented by Cian Kilcoyne in goals and Jack Lavin at centre back.
St Patricks Day Parade
A huge thank you to all our members who took part and assisted in the parade this year. Great to see the parade back again in Ballymote and great to see the red and white on display.
Easter Camp 2022
We are delighted to announce we will be hosting our Easter GAA camp in Corran Park on the 11th and 12th of April for Boys and Girls Age 5-13. Looking forward to seeing you all there. You can register online through our ClubForce link or contact any of our underage coaches for more info.
Cheltenham Tipster Competition:
Well done to Sean Irwin who won our 2022 competition. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser. Special mention to Sean Stagg who ran an excellent competition and had us entertained up to the last race.
