Our Senior men's team drew with Curry onSaturday evening last in Tourlestrane in round 2 of the league. The team were down by a scoreline of 0-5 to 0-1 with ten minutes left in the second half but a quick brace of points and an equaliser from Pat Harte left it level at the break on a score of 0-5 each. A John Kelly equaliser on the 52nd minute secured a point with a final score of 0-10 each.
Our Junior football team kicked off their season on Sunday last when they played Ballina Stephenites in a challenge game. The team was Matthew Lang, Colm McVeigh, Shane Neary, Peter Mulholland, Jerome Quinn, Niall Durkin, John Paul Lang, Oisin Kennedy, Sean Quinn, Pardaig McVeigh, Riain Kennedy, Robert Gavigan and Ruairi Brennan.Their next outing is this coming weekend when they play Bunninadden in Round 1 of the Division 4 League.
Sligo GAA are holding a one day camp on Thursday, 24th April in Curry GAA pitch, 10am to 2.30 pm, cost is €5 per child and you can pay on the day, all age groups welcome.
