Our Senior men secured their first win of the league campaign when
they overcame table leaders, St. Mary's on Sunday last on a scoreline
of 1-12 to 0-13 in Tourlestrane. The team play Tubbercurry in round 4
of the league on Friday, the 25th of April, at 7.30pm in Kilcoyne
Park.

The Division 4 team played the first round of the league when they
took on Bunninadden on Monday last. The team suffered defeat on a
score of 5-14 to 1-9. The team play away to Eastern Harps on Sunday at
5.30pm in round 2.

Our Minor boys put up a huge second half recently to overcome
Enniscrone/Kilglass on a score of 4-17 to 3-8, this was on the back of
the first half, which they only lead by the minimal of margins. The
Minor team lost to Curry tonight (Wednesday) in the league on a
scoreline of 1-13 to 3-11.

Some excellent scores by our U-16 boys ensured a round 3 win over St.
Farnan's, 7-17 to 3-6. The team played Coolera/Strandhill on Easter
Monday, after a tough encounter, the game finished all square, 2-10 to
1-13.

Our U-12 boys team put up a great performance in the first round of
the league recently against Eastern Harps but fell short just at the
end. 0-15 to 0-11. The team will be looking to record their first win,
when they take on Owenmore Gaels at Connolly Park on Tuesday the 29th
of April.

Congratulation also to our very talent bunch of U-10 footballers who
played Tubbercurry recently. Certainly ones to watch for the future!
Thanks to all managers, selectors and parents for your continued

Our Senior ladies suffered their defeat at the hands of Eastern Harps
on Easter Sunday. The team did very well with a young team and missing
a few regulars but lost on a final score of 3-12 to 2-10. The team
enjoyed a team bonding session on Good Friday last on Lough Talt.
Thanks to Wild Wet Adventures, the team enjoyed stand up paddling,
kayaking and canoeing. 



The Senior Hurlers were out of luck on Good Friday when they lost to
Cluainin Iomaint by a single point. The team play Tuairín in the final
of the Táin League on Saturday at 1pm in the Connaught Centre of
Excellence.

Our U-16 Hurlers came up against a stronger Naomh Eoin team recently,
full time score was 7-8 to 0-2. Next up is Western Gaels on Monday at
home.

Pride of the parish goes to Conor Walsh, Rhue. Conor won the World
Irish Dancing Championships on April 16th. Conor is a Minor player
with the club and is brother of senior club and county player, Barry.
The club is so proud of Conor and we extend our heartiest
congratulations.

Banada Disco takes place this Friday the 25th of April.
