Well done to the Senior Ladies Team who got off to winning
ways on Sunday with a 2pt win over Shamrock Gaels on a wet and windy morning in
Connolly Park.
The Senior Men’s team kicked off their season with a loss to
St. Johns on Friday morning last in the Benson Cup. Well done to the minor
players involved on the day who made their Senior debut. Their next game is at
home to Coolera/Strandhill in the Benson Cup next Saturday evening with
throw-in at 5pm. All support is much appreciated.
The Minor boys begin their league campaign next Monday 27th
March away to Easkey/Enniscrone/Kilglass with a venue to be decided.
The club is running a 6 week nursery for children aged between 4 and 6
years old (born in 2011/2012). It continues this Thursday 23rd March 6-7 in the
Teeling Centre. Fun programme and an introduction to GAA with fundemental
movement and basic skill development. All welcome If parents would be

Well done to Niall Walsh, Jonathan Davey and Gavin Phelan who
beat Drumcliffe/Rosses Point GAA Club last Monday night in the Quarter Final of
Ocean FM's Pole Position Quiz in the Glasshouse Hotel.
The club held a forum last week looking for ideas on improving the club
over the next few years with the hope of creating a 5 year development plan.
Some great ideas were raised by the participants regarding coaching, future
facilities, fundraising etc. It is hoped to have the development plan finalised
in the near future.

playing kit for our U-10 and U-8 teams. The T-shirt (a requirement for U-8 and
10's) is €15, with an option of shorts and socks for €22 total. Sizes catering
right down to our nursery kids.

Plans for our new stand are complete and displayed in clubhouse. We are
now in the planning permission stage. Anybody willing to join the fundraising

The Lotto draw took place in The Owenmore
Inn on Monday 6th March. The numbers drawn were 12, 13, 23, 31. There
was no winner of the €6,000 Jackpot. Congrats to our ‘Match 3’ winners
Kathleen Kane & Ultan Doherty who each win €50.
Thanks to
everyone who bought tickets and continues to support the club. As there was no
winner this week, the Jackpot rolls over to €6,100. The next draw will take
place in Connollys Bar Monday 20th March.
