We wish the under 14 boys and girls teams the very best of luck as they compete in the AllIreland Féile competitions this weekend.  To have one team represent their county at this competition is a massive honour.  To have two teams is unique and extraordinary and we would like to let the children and their coaches know how proud we are of them for this unique achievement .
Our underage academy hosted Dromahaire in a very competitive blitz on Saturday morning last.  We would like to thank our near neighbours Dromahaire for coming in and making it such a sporting, enjoyable  event .

We would like to welcome home on holidays Paschal McGowan from Australia.
Paschal along with the late Hugh McLoughlin, Brian McGauran and Seamus Cummins  was instrumental in setting up the first under age football teams in the Club in the early 1980s.  We are forever indebted to this great man for his foresight and hard work, and we wish him and his family  a pleasant stay while home on holidays.

The senior football team played St Molaise Gaels in Hazelwood on Sun 18th June in the Kiernan Cup. Our team battled hard in the first half and gave as good as they got,  as they traded scores and kept within a score of  the opposition. In the second half our players battled courageously but could not match the teamwork, cohesion, scoring ability  and fitness levels of our opponents and finished up the wrong side of the final score of St Molasie Gaels  2—21 to Calry St Josephs 1—8. Team on duty:- W Burke, T Scanlon, A Cummins, G Golden, E Nicholson, C Heraghty, C Mc Govern , C Griffin, D O Brien, M Flynn, C Stenson, P Woulfe,  A Flynn, G Keaney, P Heraghty and sub used C Tuohy.    Training continues on Tuesday   at 7.00pm in Forthill. The next game in  Kiernan Cup  is away   to Eastern Harps  next weekend. Details of game will be notified to players.

Club Lotto draw results:- Jackpot €5,950,  numbers drawn 11, 18, 20, 29 and no winner. No match three numbers, Promoters prize winner   David Dykes, Calry. Next draw is on Wed 28th June and Jackpot is €6,000.

Congrats to our county players Aidan and Darragh on their performance at the weekend in their victory over Antrim.

We extend our sympathies to the Flanagan family on the death of Jack Flanagan, Ballinwillinbeg,  Calry.
