The Boys Minor team lost 1-13 to 0-11 to Curry in the Division 1 League final last Thursday. The game was played in very difficult conditions with both teams evenly matched until the final five minutes when Curry pulled away. The team was: Ultan McKenna, Emmet Dodd, Ben Tuohy, Evan Lyons, Seamus Hailstones (0-1), Karl McKenna, Bryan Johnston, Dillon McDermott, James Carroll, Niall Whelan, Daniel Lyons, Steven Willis (0-4), Shane Deignan (0-1), Ryan Fitzpatrick (0-1), Patrick Benson (0-4). Subs: Conor Mullen, Dylan Burke, Adam King, Sean Carroll, Dylan Willis, Darragh Merrick, Adrian Benson. Despite this loss the Gaels can look forward to the championship with confidence. 

The Senior team had a good 1-12 to 0-14 away win over Garrymore, Mayo in the Connacht Club Competition. The team was: Donal Tuohy, Daniel Murphy, Paul Higgins, Eoin O'Connell, Alan Kelly, Liam O'Connell, Conor Merrick, Joe Henry, David Quinn, Ciaran O'Connor, Cian McDermott, Andy Flynn, Darragh Hailstones, Keith Candon, Daire Kearns Subs: Luke Flynn for D Kearns, Enda O'Connell for E O'Connell, Mark Kearns for C McDermott, Liam Tuohy. They now take on Tourlestrane away this Tuesday in the quarter final at 7.30PM. They also play Tourlestrane at home next Sunday at 1.00PM in the final game of the Division 1 league.

The junior team had a comprehensive 5-11 to 0-7 win over Easkey in the league last Friday. 

The boys U14 team had a 5-15 to 5-8 home win over Coolera/Strandhill in the C Championship last Friday.

The Boys U12 teams play Ballymote at home this Tuesday at 7.00PM.

The Ladies Senior team had a comprehensive win over St Maloise Gaels in the Championship last Sunday. The team was: Meabh McDermott, Catherine Tuohy, Edel Lyons, Aoife Morrisroe, Lisa Callaghan, Chloe McTiernan (0-1), Eillis O'Connor, Aoife Brennan (0-1), Louise Merrick, Roisin Kearns, Naomh Quinn (0-1), Erin Mullaney (0-6), Mairead Tuohy (2-2), Sonia McDermott (1-2), Simone Kelly (3-3). Subs: Aisling Boyd, Aine O'Connell, Aoife O'Connor, Fiona Baker (1-2). They now play Curry away on Sunday 6th August in the next round.

Well done to the U18 Girls who made it two wins out of two with a 5-16 to 2-7 win over Calry last Wednesday. The team was: Meabh McDermott, Aoife Morrisroe, Lisa Callaghan, Sarah Walsh, Chloe McTiernan (0-1), Jade Lyons, Roisin Durey, Louise Merrick (0-1), Erin Mullaney (1-3), Roisin Kearns, Jane Benson (1-1), Mairead Tuohy (1-6), Makalya McLoughlin (2-3) Subs: Isobel Clark (0-1), Katy McCann. They now play St Marys away on 9th August.


The U12 Girls lost to Coolera in the championship last Friday and now play Drumcliffe at home this Friday.

The lotto jackpot stands at €1,600 with the next draw this weekend in Hartes, Riverstown.
