Last Saturday our Club hosted the inaugural Aidan McGowan U11 Boys Blitz with our club competing against teams from Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo, Fermanagh, Donegal and Dublin in honour of our deceased Club President and former Chairman of Connacht GAA Council. It was an outstanding success and a fitting tribute to a great Gael.  Sincere thanks  to to the seven clubs who travelled to take part. Also to everyone who played a part in the  organisation and running of the event thank you for your contribution. The part played by referees, umpires, linesmen, catering team, carparking volunteers  was huge and greatly appreciated by the Club. Parents, Coaches, Senior Players, Underage Players, Club Referees, Officers all worked together to deliver a very successful event. Thanks also to photographer Charlie Brady. Finally thanks to the McGowan family for their generous contribution and support to the Tournament. The plate competition was won by Glencar/Manorhamilton, Crossmolina Deel Rovers  were  successful in the Shield final and perhaps fittingly the Aidan McGowan Cup winners were St Molaise Gaels defeating old rivals St Mary's in the final.

Our Development squad completed their Division IV League campaign with an  impressive 2-14 to 1-08 away win against St Farnan's on Friday night last finishing in third place in the Table. Well done to the squad and Mangement team on an excellent campaign.

On  next Tuesday April 8th our two Boys U12 squads are in League semi final action at home at 7.00pm. In the Shield competition our Division I squad play Ballymote/Bunninadden while our Division III team play neighbours Drumcliffe/Rosses point in the Cup competition.

Our annual "Cash for Clobber" fundraiser coincides with the return of underage coaching. If anyone has old clothes and footwear that they don't need the Club would be delighted to take these. Goods can be left at the Club  rooms on any Saturday morning.
