The minor team got off to a winning start in the B championship with a hard earned win over St. Mary's in Templeboy on Thursday last. The final score was St. Farnan's 2-16, St. Mary's 3-9. The under 16 St. Farnan's /St. Pat's team had a great win over Tubbercurry/ Cloonacool in the first round of the A championship on Monday last in Dromard. The final score was St. Farnan's /St. Pat's 3-23, Tubbercurry/ Cloonacool 2-11.
> The intermediate team will get their first taste of championship action when they face local rivals Easkey on Sunday at 1pm in Quigabar.
> Easkey /St. Farnan's minor hurling team play Naomh Eoin on Thursday at 7pm in Kent Park. On Friday St. Farnan's /St. Pat's under 14 footballers play Curry in Templeboy at 7pm in the third round of the A championship.
>Well done to Joanne Gillespie, winner of€105 in the 50/50 draw. The next draw is on Sunday, August 27th.
