St Johns Lotto

 The next Lotto draw is for a Super Jackpot Prize of E11,050. There was no winner of the Jackpot in the draw which took place on Sept 2nd. The winners of the consolation prizes were Donal Flynn, Pearse Rd.; Brian Kelly, Carnamadda; Joe Carolan, Heatherview and Mathona Rooney, Aughamore. The next draw will take place in The Crozon Inn on Sat Sept 16th at 11.00 pm.   Lotto tickets can be purchased in the following outlets – Applegreen, Pearse Rd.; Clifford Electrical, Carraroe; The Crozon Inn; Gerry Mc Morrow’s Shop, Cairns Rd.; Blue Lagoon, Riverside; Cannings House and Garden, Cornageeha and Molly Fultons Bar and Restauraunt, Carraroe .

 

Under 14 Championship

Our K & D Developments sponsored Under 14 boys were successful in their championship Quarter final last Friday when they defeated Coolaney-Mullinabreena in the new Nace O’Dowd Park in Achonry by 4-14 to 4-6. They have qualified to meet Tubbercurry-Cloonacool in the semi final which is due to take place this Thurs at 6.15 in Stenson Park, Cuilbeg.  Good luck to the team and management.

Minor Championship

Our minor team continued their championship campaign on Thurs last when they were defeated by a stronger Geevagh- St Michaels combination in Stenson Park by 3-18 to 2-8 The remaining game in this section is due to be played on Friday Sept 15th away to St Patricks, Dromard.

Intermediate Championship

Well done to our Burns Cars-Sponsored senior team who continued their fine progress in the championship with a comprehensive victory over St Patricks in The Markievicz Park on Sat last on a scoreline of 3-12 to 1-8. We wish Dara Mc Garty and his management team and players all the best in the Quarter final against Castleconnor which takes place next Sunday Sept 10th  at 2.30 in Bunninadden.  St Johns lineout was Noel O’Donnell; Aaron Clerkin, Enda Roche, Niall Walsh; Oisin Cox, Paul Mc Namara, Daniel Smith(0-1); James Murphy(0-2), David Rooney(0-1); Tommy Kelly(1-1), Brian Mc Gowan(1-0), Conor Greene; Alan Keane(1-7) , Fiachra Grennan, Charlie Harrison 

Junior Championship

Our junior team have their next fixture in the Championship on Sat afternoon next when they take on Curry in Bunninadden at 4.30

Under 13 Feile

Our Under 13 Feile team begi their campaign with an away game against Eastern Harps in Keash on Tues Sept 12th with a 6.15 throw-in time.

City Board Leagues

St Johns will have four teams playing in the City Board Leagues which will commence on Wed Sept 6th. Training is held on Wednesdays in Stenson Park.  The Under 8 team will be managed by Ciaran Feeney, Under 9 by Fergal Kelly, Under 10 by James Barnicle and Seamus Casey will manage the Under 11 team.
