Last Saturday Ballymote/Bunninadden minor team played Shamrock Gaels in Minor ‘A’ shield championship final. Both sides will have to do it all over again as this trilling game ended in draw with Ballymote/Bunninadden scoring the final point. Final score Ballymote/Bunninadden 1-11 Shamrock Gaels 0-14. Best wishes to Adam Cunnane who was stretchered off during game after sustaining a nasty shoulder injury. We hope to see you back soon, Adam is a key member of both minor and junior team. Junior team are busy preparing for championship final 22nd October. Put the date in your diary as we hope to make club history, as Ballymote never won this title before. We await the winners of Tourlestrane and Cloonacool.
Nursery training returns next Friday 14th October in Colaiste Mhuire Gym, 6-7pm. This is open to boys and girls 4-6yrs.
