The Minor boys got the league campaign off to a great start with a comfortable 3-18 to 0-6 home win over Owenmore Gaels on Sunday. The team was: Daniel Lyons, Evan Lyons, Shane McCann, Seamus Hailstones (0-1), Sean Carroll (1-0), Dylan Burke, James Carroll, Dillon McDermott, Michael Barry (0-4), Patrick Benson (0-1), Christian Monaghan (0-1), Lee Deignan (0-9), Dylan Willis (2-2). Subs: Eoin Dwyer for D Burke, Ultan McKenna for J Carroll. They are away to Eastern Harps next Sunday 18th at 11AM.

The Ladies Junior team lost 5-7 to 3-16 at home against Owenmore Gaels last Sunday in the warmup league. The team was Meabh McDermott, Catherine Tuohy, Aoife Morrisroe, Lisa Callaghan, Chloe McTiernan, Roisin Durey, Aoife Brennan, Siobhan Brennan. Roisin Kearns (0-2), Aisling Boyd, Naomh Quinn, Rachel Boyd (2-0), Simone Kelly (3-3). Subs: Fiona Baker (0-1), Mairead Tuohy (0-1).  They now take on Coolera/Strandhill away next Sunday at 10.00AM.

  

Anyone travelling on the London trip need to forward a copy of their passport and a deposit of €150 to any club member before next Wednesday.

There was no winner of the lotto draw last weekend with the numbers drawn 2, 10, 27 and 30. There were two match 3 winners, Maria and Aine Brennan. The next draw takes place on Saturday 24th March in Des McDonagh's with the jackpot at €3,300.

The club's dinner dance takes place in the Clayton Hotel on Friday 6th April at which medals will be presented to the U21 Championship winning team. Reserve the date in your diary.

Registration is still open for underage players, please contact Michelle McMorrow on 087 6157455 to arrange registration. The fees are the same as last year, €35 per child up to a maximum of €100 per family - this fee also covers insurance for the year. 

The winners of the monthly draw were David Quinn, Michael Tonry and Paul Higgins. 

The club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Patrick Joseph Mullaney, Cloghogue, Rose Feeney, Sligo, Betty Conway, Longford and John William Kearns, Ballymote all of whom died recently.
