Senior
There was no game last weekend for our senior team due to Sligo’s
exploits over in London. Next up is a league fixture against St Michaels on
Saturday the 12th May at 7pm for round 5 in Easkey pitch.
Senior Hurling
Our senior hurlers continued their winning streak with a 3-10 to 1-10
win against Manorhamilton in glorious sunshine in Easkey on Sunday in the
Dermot Molloy Hurling League Semi Final. Next up
is eagerly anticipated league final vs Coolera/Strandhill which has yet to be
fixed.
U17 Hurling
Good luck to Easkey/ Farnans lads on the Sligo u17 hurling team who play
Donegal on Wednesday 9th May in Ballyshannon for round 2 of the
Celtic Challenge league. The played brilliantly last week against Galway in the
first round, however lost out on a score line of 0-9 to 0-6 to a strong Galway
side.
U17 Football
The Sligo u17s football starts this Friday 11th May with a
fixture vs Galway in Markievicz Park for Round 1. Good luck to the local lads
that are on the squad.
Minor
Next up for the Easkey/Enniscrone -Kilglass minors is Owenmore Gaels in
the last round of the league on May 18th.
U16
Next up for the Easkey/Enniscrone – Kilglass U16s is a fixture against
Castleconnor on May 14th in Quigabar for round 6 of the league.
Underage Hurling
Underage Hurling training continues during the week as follows.
Saturday morning – u8s, u10s
- 11.15am – 12.
Saturday morning - u12s -
12-1 pm
Monday night u12 8-9 pm in

Rounders
Rounders training continues on Monday nights for girls 7-16 years old
from 5.30 to 7pm in Owenbeg school pitch. 41 girls registered so any new
members are always welcome. They will be attending the u13 Feile on the 4th
June in the Heath GAA club in County Laois so best of luck to all involved.
Roisin McHugh is leading a Rising Star Programme to develop skills in the u10
age group. Contact Claire McGuire if interested in joining up.
U8-U10
Training continues on Saturday morning at 10 on the Astro Turf in Owenbeg
for all U8 and U10s.
U12- U14
Training continues for the u12 and u14 teams during the week.
