St Johns Lotto Draw
The Lotto draw took place on Sat July 7th
the numbers drawn were 5 – 17 – 23 - 27.
There was no winner of the Jackpot. The winners of the E25 consolation prizes
were Michael Barrett, Tonafortes; Ursula Leyden, Carraroe; Laura Foley, Beltra
and Allison Foley, C/O Crozon Inn. The
next draw will take place in The Clubrooms, Cuilbeg next Sat July 21st
at 8.30 pm for a Jackpot Prize of
E12,200. Lotto tickets can be purchased from Cannings, Cornageeha; Clifford
Electrical, Carraroe; The Blue Lagoon, Riverside; Mc Morrow’s Shop, Cairns Rd.;
Crozon Inn; Molly Fultons, Carraroe or from club members.
Senior Team
Our Burns Skoda sponsored senior team travelled to
Bunninadden on Sunday to take on the locals in the final game of the Div 2
League and came away victorious on a scoreline of 3 – 10 to 0 – 16. This result
leaves us mid-way in the League table with 4W-1D-4L results. The next outing
will be when we face Tourlestrane in the first round of the Senior Championship
which is scheduled for the first weekend in August.
Minor Football
Our U18 minor team begin their Championship campaign when
they welcome Calry-St Josephs as visitors to Stenson Park, Cuilbeg on Thurs
July 19th at 7.00
Under 16 Boys
Football
Our under 16 team having been at home to Shamrock Gaels on
Monday evening, will travel to Fr Cryan Park, Keash to play Eastern Harps on
Monday 23rd.
Under 14 Boys
Football
Our Under 14 boys team were defeated by
Coolaney-Mullinabreena in the U14 Shield semi final last week
Under 12 and Under
11 Boys Football
Our Div 1 and Div 3 boys teams travelled to Ransboro last
Tuesday and neither team had success on the night. The U12 team were narrowly
defeated by Coolera-Strandhill by 0-13 to 0-12 while the U11 team went down by
0-17 to 0-12
