Western Gaels - Our u14s got off to a winning start in their championship opener with a 6 piont win over Naomh Eoin. After a slow start the lads drove on and produced an excellent display of skill and determination in the 2nd half.
Next up they play Benbulben Gaels at home in Quigabar.
In the 4th round of the senior championship, our seniors showed a much improved display earning them a draw v Tourlestrane. We conceded some very fortuitous goals and a number of unfortunate wides but in the end the lads got a draw.
Next up is Naomh Eoin at home on the August bank holiday Monday.
Our underage teams went to headquarters in Croke Park last Saturday for the Clare vs Galway semi final which was a mammoth game of hurling. A great day was had by all especially all our underage teams.
