Congrats to Eoghan Smith, Lee Cummins and the Sligo Under 16 footballers who lifted the Fr Manning Cup title for 2018 last Saturday with a 2-14 to 1-9 win over Wicklow in Longford. It was a fitting reward for a group of players who have worked very hard over the past couple of years. A mention too for club member Jimmy Smith who is part of the U16 management team.

Katie Maguire, Izzie Henry and Rianne Smith were called into the Sligo girls Under 14 development squad last week and played in a weekend challenge match against Donegal. Well done to all involved. 

The club will be holding a cake sale on Saturday and Sunday, November 24th & 25th in the History Centre at Rathcormac. This is a fundraiser being organised by the DRP ladies in support of the the Sligo LGFA Strictly Come Dancing event on November 30th.
