There is only two weeks left to the Dinner Dance on 2nd February in the Clayton Hotel. Tickets are available for €25 from any committee member.  Medals will be presented to the Senior Team who won the Intermediate Championship and championship runners up  medals will be presented to the Senior Ladies team along with the Player of the year awards. We will also be inducting a stalwart of the Club, Michael Reynolds into the Hall of Fame. Michael has been a tremendous servant to the club serving as county board delegate for many years and an ever present member of the committee. We look forward to honouring Michael on the night.

The annual Bord Ná Nóg awards presentation took place last Saturday evening with County Manager, Paul Taylor presenting winners medals to the U18 boys, U18 girls, U16 boys and U12 boys along with runners up medals to the U14 boys and U12 girls teams. The player of the year awards went to U10, Penny Barlow, Rian Conway; U12, Louise Roberston, Jack Barrett; U14, Nola Eivers, Conor McMorrow; U16, Jade Lyons, Conor Kearns; U18, Meabh McDermott, Dylan Willis. Dylan also won the overall Player of the Year award. Thanks to the Kearns family of their continued sponsorship of these awards in memory of Leo & Phil Kearns. Thanks to Paul Taylor for giving up his time to present the awards in what has been one of the most successful years in the club's history at underage level.

Congrats and well done to Easkey on a great win in the All Ireland Junior semi-final.

Tickets are in circulation for the National Club Draw for €10 each. This is one of the club's main fundraising activities for the year with 100% of the money going to the club. The first prize is a car with many other great prizes. Tickets should be returned to any committee member this week.

The lotto jackpot stands at €5,500 with the next draw this Saturday 26th in Sean Macs.

It was with sadness that we learned of the passing of Padraig Scanlon, Riverstown after a long illness. Padraig was a great community man and will be sadly missed. We express our sympathy with his wife Liz and family. Ar dheis de do raibh a anam. The club also wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Seamus Cunnane, Ballygawley who died last week.
