Geevagh / St Michael’s Minor Footballers   lost to Shamrock Gaels in a league fixture at Coola on Friday last. Many of the same young players were in action on Sunday as part of our U-21 team which lost to Castleconnor. The U-21’s now take on St Farnan’s in a must win game on Sunday 16th April.

It was a week of mixed fortunes for our U-12 teams; the boys drew with St Pat’s while the girls lost to Ballisodare in their first outing of the season. This week sees our U-8’s and U-10’s participate in a blitz at the Owenmore Gales grounds in Collooney, our U-14 girls host Calry on Wednesday and our U-14 boys make the trip to Grange to face St Maolise Gaels on Thursday.

The club extends deepest sympathies to Margaret Davey    on the death of her aunt Margaret Gormley, Bunninadden. Ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam.
