Hurling coaching for all 7 to 12 year olds takes place every Saturday at 12 in Kent Park, St Mary's GAA Club. All are welcome and new players can be registered prior to training by their parent or guardian.
Our U-12 team got their league campaign running with a super 5 all draw against Tourlestrane last Tuesday. Patrick Brady and Ewan Boland got the last two scores to force a draw. Ronan McDaniel played a starring role with good performances also from Liam Hargadon, Sam Reid and Rian O'Shea.
Our next game is at home to Easkey on 23rd April at 7pm.
Our U-14 team hope to follow up their comprehensive Round 1 win away to Tourlestrane with a Round 2 Sligo HL game v Benbulben Gaels in Kent Park on Thursday at 6.30pm.
Our senior hurlers had an excellent 1-15 to 1-7 Sligo senior league win over Tourlestrane in Kent Park last Saturday evening. A very youthful team made light of the very difficult windy conditions to lead 1-10 to 0-4 at half time and facing into the breeze in the second half managed to limit the visitors to 1-3 whilst adding to their total throughout the game. Great performances from debutants Michael Munnelly in goal, Donal Keaveny at corner back, along with top-scorers Tony O'Kelly-Lynch and Donal Fidgeon.

Next up for our seniors is a refixed Round 1 senior league game away to Western Gaels on Good Friday at 7pm Enniscrone GAA. The winner of this game will progress to the League Cup semi-finals and the loser to the Shield semis on Easter Monday.
