During International Men's Health Week 2019, the theme for the island of Ireland is that 'Men's Health Matters' and the call to action is: 'Make the Time. Take the Time'. This year’s Men’s Health & Wellbeing Event in Sligo aims to raise awareness of some of the important health issues experienced by men and give men the opportunity to take the time to take care of themselves.
At 7.30pm, the event features three expert talks by doctors and health professionals from Sligo University Hospital (SUH) on a range of different topics including “7 secrets to healthy aging” and “What Every Man Needs to Know about His Health”.  For those wishing to avail of the free health, registration starts at 7pm.  Please note there is limited availability and the checks will be on a first come, first served basis.
This evening promises to be both engaging, informative and a great way to mark International Men’s Health Week 2019. The event is free of charge, with no pre-registration required.
