Sligo GAA are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Games Promotion Officer (GPO), Stephen Henry.

Stephen or Blondie is well known throughout the county as a mainstay of the county champions Tourlestrane midfield for the last number of years and has represented Sligo at all levels of competition.

In the last number of months he has been coaching throughout the schools and clubs of west Sligo and all have been impressed with his coaching, and ability to help all the youngsters improve their skills, talent and game playing. In particular he has instilled in them a love for the games and a confidence to play at a high level.

Stephen was  welcomed to the team this morning by Sligo GAA Coaching officer John McPartland Snr.
