Western Gaels v Coolera/Strandhill
Gaels lost out in the previous round in a high scoring game to Easkey, an Easkey team minur the McHugh brothers though. Coolera/Strandhill have a mix of youth with experience with the likes of Banks and Prior added spark to the Comerford and Caddens but home advantage could prove the difference and the busy weekend for Coolera lads so going to select the Westerners to come through in a very tight affair.

Calry/St.Jospehs v Naomh Eoin
With both teams providing a lot of the Nicky Rackard sides and based in Sligo town this should have a real edge to it. Last years games were tight. Naomh Eoin have been doing sterling work in the underage for the last number of years and are beginning to see the benefits of that however Calry have so much experience. Like the previous round we could end up with draws but going with Naomh Eoin as most of the Kent Park side have a weekend free of football committments

After coming through the last tough test without their marquee players Easkey will be expected to come through in Castletown on Wednesday evening.
