Bunninadden just did enough to edge out Enniscrone on a scoreline of 3-9 to 2-10 thus qualifying for the quarter finals and in the process retaining their Intermediate status.
An early Niall O'Donnell goal and points from Kenneth Kerins, Daniel and Barry Cafferky saw them chalk up 1-5 but an improved 2nd quarter by Enniscrone when they hit with two sucker-punch goals saw Enniscrone lead by a point at the break.

An early 2nd half goal by Daniel Cafferky saw Bunninadden regain the lead but they failed to push on and  relied on Kenneth Kerins frees and a good point from Rory O'Dowd.

Enniscrone took a hold of the game going into the final quarter and it looked like Bunninadden were in serious trouble entering the final stages.  Some desperate defending and last ditch tackles kept Enniscrone at bay. The Caffferky brothers combined for Barry to find the net with a few minutes to go leading to a very intense few minutes and they managed to hold on for the victory.
