Fundraiser

The club is thrilled to have launched a huge fundraiser, for which there is a prize worth in excess of €70000!

We are offering entrants the chance, for just €25, to win a luxury Campervan, which is ideal for the upcoming summer season in a year when staycations will again be the order of the day.

By entering, you can put yourself in the frame to win one of the industry’s leading motor homes, which includes all you need to further enhance your staycation experience this summer and beyond.

With 3 berths, kitchen facilities, a seated area and much, much more, the Etrusco V6600 is the ideal way to travel around Ireland, or abroad in years to come, with family or friends.

The draw will have only 5,495 tickets, so please get your tickets early.

You can enter via our dedicated competition website, www.winadreamcampervan.com, where a full list of Terms and Conditions are available.

For further details, and updates, please follow Win Your Dream Campervan on Facebook and Instagram.

The draw is pencilled in for the 16th of July.

Floodlights

At a recent club meeting, the committee took the decision to progress with plans for floodlights on our main playing pitch.

With current developments at Quigabar, our facilities will receive another major facelift this year with the construction of our new clubhouse and community facility, as well as lighting our playing pitch for the first time.

We will provide more updates on progress on this project in the coming months.

Blotto

We have exciting plans for the return of our blotto draw with our friends in Kilglass/Enniscrone Utd. Keep your eyes out for details in the coming weeks!

RIP

The club extends its sympathies to the Tuffy, Queenan and O’Shea families following the sad passing of Aidan Tuffy in county Clare last week.

Aidan played underage football for the club through all the age groups and was a staunch supporter, providing sponsorship on a couple of occasions and attending matches whenever he was at home.

Aidan was laid to rest in Breaffa Cemetery, Kilrush, last week.

The club also extends its sympathies to the family of John Reilly, Maugherabrack, Kilglass, who passed away last week.

John was a great stalwart for the club for a long number of years, with many recalling him travelling the roads of the parish on his Honda 50 organising and preparing our underage teams throughout the 1980s and 1990s. His funeral took place on Sunday with burial afterwards in Kilglass Cemetery.
