Results:
Our Senior Footballers had a very good win against Geevagh on Sunday last in the 2nd round of the league in a tense and thrilling affair. Easkey were fast to start going into an early 5 point lead before Geevagh scored 1-04 without reply with the goal coming from the penalty spot. Easkey steadied the ship with a point before half time to leave themselves 1 point in arrears at the break. Easkey were again fast to start the 2nd half and despite missing a few goal chances, they finally found the net just before the Water Break to lead by a point going into the last quarter. Easkey found the net again in the last quarter to stretch their lead but a good come back from Geevagh saw them score a goal also to leave it a 3 point game going into injury time. Geevagh laid seige on our goals for the last few minutes but a couple of fine saves from our net minder Shane Kilgannon and the crossbar coming to Easkey's rescue and Easkey were able to see out the game winning on a scoreline of 2-11 to 2-09

Easkey/St Farnans U15 footballers had a good win against Tourlestrane last Monday 12th, winning out by 8-10 to 4-06. Easkey/St Farnans U13 Footballers also had a narrow win against Tubbercurry/Cloonacool last Tuesday, on a scoreline of  5-06 to 3-11. This leaves the u13s joint top of their group with 3 wins from 3 so far this year. Easkey U15 hurlers had 2 wins in the u15 Táin League  within the last week, beating Ballina (Mayo) last Wednesday and Cluainin Iomaint (Leitrim) on Monday 19th. Our Junior Footballers lost by a goal to table toppers St John on Friday evening in what was another very entertaining game, with Easkey coming very close to scoring an equalising goal in the dying seconds. Also well done to our U-9 and U-11 footballers who both played St Patrick's last week. Easkey/St Farnans U-13 Footballers also had a good challenge game on Saturday morning in Quigabar against Enniscrone/Kilglass, losing narrowly after a very strong final quarter from the hosts. Thanks to the enniscrone/kilglass club for hosting
