This weekend saw the our senior teams get their league campaigns underway starting off in Geevagh with our Senior ladies away in the morning sunshine and a breeze across the pitch in Geevagh . With a strong start the ladies kicked some fine scores. Early on we lost Leonie Gaughan and Anna Corcoran both to injuries leaving the bench very bare . The hosts came back to leave Colm Gunning referee totting up a very long score sheet as declared the game a draw.

Down in Grange at the same time our Junior ladies played on the fabulous new pitch in Molaise Gaels and congratulations to the club on their facility. Lead by captain for the day Ellen Bailey, a new college graduate this week, our ladies faced a stronger team but credit to all the girls particularly the very young girls who made their debut at this level to fill the panel .

Our u15 boys hosted Curry at the pitch and had a nice win 2/11 to 2/4.

Our senior men were next to take to the field at home in their first league game v Shamrock Gaels . It was a fast paced game from the start, our lads staying in front from the beginning with the Kennedy brothers Oisin and Rian both rattling the net in the first half. The visitors were biting at our heels throughout the second Half to see the game finish up 2/14 to 15 points at the final whistle.

The Junior men headed to St Michael’s in the evening to close the days matches and in a very entertaining 60 minutes of football came out second at the whistle 1/11 to 9 points .
Thursday our u15 boys were beaten by Enniscrone/Kilglass
On Wednesday Tourlestrane had 44 children in Castleconnor to play Western Gaels in U7, U9 & U11 Hurling. Thank you to Western Gaels for hosting, and huge thanks to coaches, parents and most importantly the children for turning out in such large numbers.

Our u16 girls had a great win against Geevagh 6/11 to 2/8 so they are continuing their winning  ways .

Well done to all involved in the Banada DIL 2022 and especially to those 500 plus people who joined in the beautiful experience on the night as they saw the sun rising.

Bingo continues every Tuesday night in the hall and online so get your books and eyes down for a win !!!
