Teams News:

Our Intermediate Team started the Fureys Coaches Senior Football League on Sunday with a competitive home game against Eastern Harps. Despite a tight encounter, visitors pulled away towards the end to claim the points. Full time score 0-10 to 1-12. Their next game is the final round of the West Division Senior Spring League away to St. Farnan’s on Saturday next 14th May at 7pm.

The Junior Team had their first run out on Friday evening last away to Tubbercurry. The host team were far superior for our lads both in performance and numbers. It finished 4-14 to 1-6. They play Owenmore Gaels next at home on Friday week.

Our U15 ‘s played out another fine display away to Tourlestrane on Thursday evening winning on a scoreline of 1-6 to 2-12. They now sit on top of the B Football League Group 1 with five wins from five.

County Scene:

Hard luck to all the Sligo U20 Team and our own Gavin Duffy, Brian Duffy, Con O’Meara (selector) and Cian Mulrooney (S&C) who were defeated in the All-Ireland Championship semi-final against Kildare on Saturday evening in Cavan.

Commiserations also to Ethan Carden and the Sligo minors who were defeated by Mayo in Ballina on Friday evening in the Connacht Minor Championship.

GAA Cúl Camp:
