Fixtures/Results:

Our intermediate footballers lost out to Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in the opening round of the league on Saturday evening on a score line of 2-11 to 3-11. Despite being 8 points down in the 2nd half, they battled back well to bring it back to a tied game with 2 minutes left and then threw caution to the wind in order to find a winner but an effort from Ian Barrett rebounded off the post and Easkey were left vulnerable at the back and Drumcliffe managed to score the winning goal from the resulting counter attack.
