Congrats to our men's team who gained promotion back to Division 2 with their win over St Molaise Gaels in their final league game on Saturday evening. Final score - St Molaise Gaels: 1-12 - St Patrick's: 1-15. Team on duty was Cormac Boland, Johnny Higgins, James Kearins, Enda Clarke, Darragh Williams, Joe McMunn, David Giblin, James Clarke, Cathal Finneran, Ciarán Giblin, Pierce Kearins, Tomas McMunn, Ciaran Brady, Padraic Clarke, Paul Boland, Canice Mulligan, Cian Lacken, Donal Brady & Donal Kilcullen. Time, date & venue for our first game in the intermediate championship was announced over the weekend. We travel to Connolly Park, Collooney on Saturday, August 13th to take on Ballymote with 7pm throw in time.
Hard luck to our U-13 lads who lost out to Coolera/Strandhill on Tuesday evening in their first game in the B Championship. A very entertaining game & some fine individual performances on both sides. Team on duty was Enda Kilcullen, Matthew O'Grady, Cian McMunn, Daithi Carney, Sean Kelly, Manus McManus, Jayden Gilgan, Jamie Boland, Diarmuid Clarke, Fiachra Clarke, Evan Barrett O'Neil.
Our U15 boys had mixed fortunes in the C Championship over the last 10 days. On Sunday July 24th they had an emphatic win at home against Coolany/Mullinabreena while on Friday evening they went down to St Mary's on a final score of St Patrick's: 3-05 - St Mary's: 3-12.
Well done to our U14 St Farnans/St Patrick's girls' team who had a great win away to St Molaise Gaels on Thursday evening in the B Championship. Final score was St Molaise Gaels: 3-06 - St Patrick's: 6-09.
Our minor St Patrick's/St Farnans girls also had a great away win in the championship on Thursday evening against Geevagh. Final score was Geevagh: 3-10 - St Patrick's/St Farnans: 5-09.
