Team News:

Our U17 team play their first game of the B Football Championship on Monday evening, 1st August, with an away fixture to Ballymote/Bunninadden. Throw-in at Corran Park is 7.00pm.

The U15 team played Eastern Harps in the second round of A Championship on Thursday last, 28th July at home, winning on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-8. Their next game is on the 11th August.

The U13 Team played in the first round of B Championship with a game on Tuesday last, 26th July, at home to St. Mary’s. The game finished all square at the final whistle, 1-8 to 1-8. Their next game is on Tuesday 9th August.

Last Saturday, 30th July, the U15 Féile Team held a very productive fundraising car wash at the Hilltop Service Station. They raised over €1000 to help with the club’s féile expenses. Grateful thanks is extended to Shane Scott and all the management at the Hilltop for the use of their facilities. It is much appreciated. Thanks also to Paul Bourke who coordinated the day and all the parents who helped out the players with the washing.

Last week saw another successful Kellogg’s Cúl Camps take place at Quigabar with over 140 young girls and boys taking part in the different games. Thanks to everyone who were involed in the running of the camp and to all the parents who brought their children to and from the grounds.
