The senior team had no game this weekend. They begin their championship campaign on Saturday 20th of August at 4pm against Owenmore Gaels in Bunninadden.
The Tubbercurry/Cloonacool under 19 team were in action away to Shamrock Gaels on Wednesday last. A very closely fought encounter ended in a draw, 1-10 apiece. The first half was seen defences on top. A goal from Oisín Hunt and some well takes points from Josh Flynn along with two well struck '45s' from Diarmuid Henry seen us lead at the break 1-6 to 0-6. In the second half defences were again on top with great defensive displays form Adam O'Donnell, Fionn Lucey, Liam Carty and Eoin O'Donnell but Shamrock Gaels did manage to score a well worked goal following a turnover in our defence. Two late points from Kevin Carnahan and Josh Flynn ensured a well deserved share of the spoils. This draw ensures our place in the county final where we meet Shamrock Gaels again in Markievicz Park on Wednesday 24th of August at 6.30pm.
The Tubbercurry/Cloonacool Under 13 team had a good win over St. Patricks on Tuesday last in the third round of the championship.
The Tubbercurry/Cloonacool under 15 team have a home game on Thursday August 11th against Ballymote/Bunninadden in the third round of the championship.
