The club will be celebrating our 50th year with a special Dinner Dance in the Clayton Hotel on Saturday 22nd October with a special guest, Pat Spillane, one of Kerry's all-time greats. We will also have the covid delayed medal presentation to the 2020 Championship winning ladies' team, the U19 Boys who won the B Championship this year and the player of the year awards. Tickets available for €40 from any committee member.
The Junior A team take on Cloonacool in the semi-final of the Championship next Sunday at 2.00PM in Markievicz Park - please come out and support.
The Senior Men had a good 4-13 to -0-14 win over Calry/St Josephs in the last group game to set up a semi-final meeting with Tourlestrane. The team was: Daniel Lyons, Ben Tuohy, Evan Lyons, Shane Barry, Karl McKenna, Paul Higgins, Ciaran O'Connor, Dillon McDermott, David Quinn, Lee Deignan, Liam O'Connell, Conor Sheridan, Darragh Hailstones, Dylan Willis, Shane Deignan. Subs: James Carroll for S Barry, Johnny Quinn for D Willis, Sean Carroll for K McKenna, Conor McMorrow for D McDermott.
   
The Senior Ladies finished their final group game with a 2-10 to 0-2 win over St Michaels. They now qualify for the Junior A Championship final against the winners of Drumcliffe/Rosses Point and CT Gaels on Saturday October 8th. 
The U18 girls play St John's in the C final on Tuesday in Ransboro at 6.00PM.
 
The U17 boys concluded the group stages of the championship this week. On Monday they had a 1-18 to 3-9 win over St Molaise Gaels and had a 3-16 to 3-7 win over Easkey/St Farnans on Friday. They finished second in the group and have home advantage in the semi-final against Drumcliffe/Rosses Point next Sunday at 5pm.
The U16 girls play St Nathys in Curry in the B final on Saturday at 10.00am - please support.
 
The U15 boys play the C final in Scarden on Thursday at 6.15PM - please support.
The U14 girls lost by the narrowest of margins in the A shield final on a score line of 5-4 to 5-3 to Eoghan Rua. Thanks to the management team of Fiona Lyons, Jessica Sweeney, Gus Chapman and Aoife O'Connor for all their work with the girls this year - a great year, winning the A shield League final and narrowly missing out on the championship.
The U13 Boys play in the A shield final on Monday at 6.15PM in Ballymote against Eastern Harps - please support.
We finished our Saturday morning coaching with a fun morning of games and treats last Saturday. All the children had a great time with refreshments for the parents. Thanks to the senior men and ladies who joined the session. Thanks to all the children who played with the club in what was a most enjoyable year. A special word of thanks to all the Saturday morning coaches who have worked with the players this year who are a vital part of our club.
The winners of the monthly draw were, Mary Kearns, Martin Cassidy, Bernard Mulhern, Conor McMorrow and Brenda Parke.
The numbers drawn in the lotto draw were 4, 8, 18 and 20. There was no jackpot winner and we had 2 match 3 winners, Donal Tuohy and Tommy Cawley Snr. The jackpot now stands at €3,400 with the next draw on Monday 26th.
The club wish to express sympathy with Aoife Clancy and the Clancy family on the passing of her mother, Philomena Clancy, Rathcormac.
