The club will be celebrating our 50th year with a special Dinner Dance in the Clayton Hotel on Saturday 22nd October with special guest, Pat Spillane, one of Kerry's all-time greats. We will also have the covid delayed medal presentation to the 2020 Championship winning ladies' team, the U19 Boys who won the B Championship this year and the player of the year awards. Tickets available for €40 from any committee member.

It was a great week on the playing fields with the Gaels capturing four county titles, qualifying for the senior men championship semi-finals, qualifying for the Senior ladies Junior A championship final and our Junior team making it through to the A Championship final.

The Junior team had a great 0-9 to 1-5 win over Cloonacool in the semi-final of the Junior A Championship. In a tense game, the Gaels overturned a second half four-point deficit with Brian Boyd the hero of the hour scoring the point to take us level and then a fantastic effort from the left to give us a deserving victory. The Gaels now play St Molaise Gaels in the final in two weeks. The team was: Ultan McKenna, John Craig, Declan Willis, Shane McCann, Gavin McMorrow, Eoin O'Connell, Patrick Barrett (0-1), Conor Merrick, Arron McKenna, Dylan McKenna (0-1), Brian Boyd (0-3), Conor Kearns, Seamus Hailstones (0-1), Frank Quinn (0-1), Steven Willis (0-2). Subs: Daire Kearns for C Kearns, Luke Flynn for P Barrett, Patrick Kenny for J Craig, Joe Quinn for Brian Boyd.

The senior men take on Tourlestrane in the semi-final of the championship next Sunday at 4.15PM in Markievicz Park, please come out and support the team in this vital game. 

Well done to the U18 girls who won the C Championship final against St John's on Tuesday on a score-line of 7-10 to 3-3. The team was: Hannah Hargadon, Clodagh Costello, Sarah McKeon, Sophie Swann, Meabh Callaghan, Ellie Mc Dermott (0-1), Aine Cogan, Ruby Clark, Hannah Willis, Lara Swann (1-2), Nola Eivers (3-3), Sorcha Mullaney, Emma Rainey, Orlaith Scanlon (3-1), Jade McMorrow. subs used Leanne Galvin (0-1), Amy Malone (0-2), Casey Wilkinson, Ciara Gilligan and Cloda Conlon.
 
The U17 Boys lost the A championship semi-final to Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on Sunday on a score-line of 3-12 to 2-11. The team was: Sean Kelly, Steven Smith, Oisin Conlon, Matthew Potter, PJ Scanlon, Jack Tuohy, Sam Tuohy, George Barlow, Ciaran Kenny, Jack Brehony, Brian Dwyer, Daniel King, George Collins, James Foley, Niall Kenny. Subs: Jack Barrett, Keilan Hannon, Leo Kennedy, Adam O' Carroll, Joris Rooney, Aaron Coleman (inj). Thanks to Shane Deignan, Donal Tuohy, Patrick Barrett and Patrick Benson for their work with the team this year.

The U16 girls won the B Cup championship final against St Nathys on Saturday in an exciting game on a score-line of 4-12 to 4-9. The team was: Casey Wilkinson, Katie Gilligan, Ava Lyons, Lousie Robertson, Leah Mullaney, Hannah Sheridan, Sophia Rose Henry, Leanne Galvin, Penny Barlow (1-1), Ciara Gilligan, Amy Malone (0-6), Marissa Hamilton, Maya Wojchowska, Orlaith Scanlon (2-5), Amy Brehony. subs used: Hayley Mullaney, Aoibhinn Conlon, Hannah Hargadon, Amy Bagnall, Anna Bagnall, Clara McGovern, Hannah Rainey and Lyn Barlow (inj) . The U15 boys continued the clubs good run this week with a win in the C Cup final over Tourlestrane on a score-line of 8-9 to 3-8. The team was: Eli Rogers, Joseph O'Connor, Miceal Garry, Alex Clark, Daniel Kearns, Leo Scanlon (0-1), Tadhg Kenny (2-0), Matthew Potter, Cruz Lyons, Jack Brehony (2-7), Darragh McKeon (0-1), Rian Conway, Troy Kelly (2-0), Charlie King (1-0), Liam McDermott subs used Josh McLoughlin, Jack Willis, David Malone (1-0), Cillian Barlow, Aaron Taylor, Dylan White and Sean Doherty. Thanks to Ciaran Garry Eoin McDermott, Donie McDermott and Daire Kearns for their work with the team this year.

The U13 Boys won the A Shield final against Eastern Harps last Monday on a score-line of 9-7 to 2-21. This high scoring game featured some great scores taken from both sides with Gaels taking control in the fourth quarter to run out winners. The panel for the final was Eli Rogers, Sean Tonry, Joseph O'Connor, Alan OG Henry, Dillion Barrett, Ethan Medas, Jack Burns, Daniel Kearns, Miceal Garry, Oran Conway, Josh McTiernan, Clive Barlow, Cillian Barlow, David Malone, Sam Rainey, Evan Wimsey, Phillip McManus, Eli Rogers, Keelan Henry, Leon McMorrow and Harry Brehony. Thanks to Declan Brehony, Shane Quigley, Michael Tonry, Martin Cassidy, James Kearns, David Wimsey and Andrew Malone for their work with the two U13 boys teams this year.
