Team news:

All our club management teams were ratified at a recent club meeting. They were U17; Paul Bourke, Brendan Byron and Cian Mulrooney. U15; Brendan Murray, Niall Hannon, Nevin Finnerty and Dermot Beglane. U13; Greg Regan, Ronan Martin, Shane Hargadon and Eoin Hallinan. U11; Derek Tuffy, Trevor Gordon and Con O’Meara. U9; Brandan Fitzgerald, Alan Duffy, Mick Thornhill. U7; Brendan Byron, Sheila Casey, John Paul Carden, Rachel Burke and Caroline Carden.

All coaches and anyone involved with underage in the club must have their Child Safeguarding Course completed and up to date. This must be done every three years.

Garda Vetting must also be done every three years. Anyone who needs to update either please contact Children’s Officer, Martin McHale.

Coaches need to have the Introduction to coaching completed also. Enquiries to John Paul Carden.

Congratulations to Alan Duffy who has been appointed Coaching Development Officer to the club. It is a shared role along with Castleconnor GAA. Alan will work in Kilglass and Enniscrone national schools as well as help with club underage coaching. We wish him well in his new role.

Scór:

Scór na nÓg takes place on Sunday 2nd April in Ballintogher Community Centre. There will be competitions in Solo Singing, Recitation/Storytelling, Set Dancing, figure Dancing, Ballad Group, Music Group, Novelty Act and Quiz. Closing date for applications is Friday, 24th March. Health Check with Croí:

Blood pressure check took place on Saturday 11th March in the old courthouse in Easkey. Our Club, along with Easkey GAA and St. Farnan's GAA Club were involved in the iniative to support the wonderful nurses from the Croí Heart & Stroke Charity providing free walk in blood pressure checks. A steady flow of people turned up throughout the day.

Friday night coaching:

No Indoor coaching this Friday, St. Patrick’s Day. It will return on Friday 24th March

Easter Camp:

Plans are afoot to hold an easter camp on the 6th and 7th April, Holy Thursday and Good Friday, in the Astroturf from 10am to 2pm. Coaching with involve some visiting coaches.

Dairy Date:

A golf classic is to be held on Friday 28th July, with a chance to win four All Ireland Football tickets. More details to be announced shortly.

All players are asked to renew their membership so they are insured and registered to play for the forthcoming season.

Cúl camps:

The Kellogg’s Cúl camps dates for 2023 are July 31st to August 4th. Registration will open shortly.

Blotto:

No winner. Numbers drawn; 2, 7, 12. €25 winners were Shane Isaac, Elaine O’Boyle, Clair Beglin Duffy, Katie, Fionn & Grace Farrell. Next week’s jackpot is €3700. Draw takes place in Gilroy’s Bar, on Sunday 19th March. Tickets can be purchased at lottoraiser.ie/EnniscroneCFC
