Our Intermediate Team played St. Farnan’s in the first round of the Shane Quigley Financial Advisor New Ireland West Division Senior Spring League at home on Sunday 2nd April. A poor first half saw them trail at the break 0-10 to 0-4. Our lads put in a much better second half outscoring their opponents but not enough on the day. Fulltime score 0-11 to 0-13.

Next outing is against neighbours, Castleconnor, on the weekend of 15/16 April.

Our U18 Team played the first round of the U18A Football League on Tuesday evening, 28th March, against Easkey/St. Farnan’s at home. Score at the final whistle was 0-10 to 2-7. The team are on the road this week with a fixture at Ransboro Park against Coolea/Strandhill on Tuesday 4th at 6.30pm.

Our U15 Team had an away game against Tubbercurry/Cloonacool in the U15B Football League on Monday 27th last. They finished the game on the wrong side of a 1 point deficit.

Final score 4-8 to 4-7. They play round 2 at home against Tourlestrane on Monday 3rd April with a 6.30pm throw-in.

Our U13 Team started their season with double fixtures for the weekend in the B League . The first was on Friday evening, at home against Coolera/Strandhill. The second, on Sunday evening away to Eastern Harps. Unfortunately the results didn’t go their way for either game. Hopefully these young lads will bounce back this coming Friday 7th April when they take on Tourlestrane at home in round 3. Throw-in is at 6.15pm.
