Thanks to all who supported the community clean up over the last two weeks which concluded last Saturday. Thanks to the Healthy Club Committee who organised this initiative and also organised refreshments on Saturday morning along with fruit for the children attending coaching on Saturday. Sincere thanks to Reggie McNulty who kindly sponsored the fruit.

The Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others returns tomorrow Monday 17th at 7.45PM in Riverstown Park. All new members welcome, no experience required for a fun hour of laughs and some exercise.

Best of luck to the Sligo U20 team and Gaels players Conor Sheridan, Conor McMorrow and Ciaran Kenny in the Connacht Final on Wednesday and good luck also to Sligo Senior team against New York on Saturday - please come out and support.

The Senior Men drew 2-9 to 2-9 with Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in the Spring league and now take on St Marys at home next Sunday at 1.30PM. The Junior men lost 1-9 to 0-9 at home to Eastern Harps on Saturday in the Junior Spring League and now take on Ballymote away next Saturday at 7.30PM.
 
The Senior Ladies had a hard fought 2-9 to 2-7 win over Geevagh on Sunday. The Gaels were six points up at half time but a strong second half from Geevagh saw them draw level in injury time, however the Gaels finished strongly with two late points to clinch the win. They now play Curry next Sunday at some at 10.30AM.

The U18 girls play Calry on Thursday at home at 7.00PM.
 
The U18 boys play Calry at home on Tuesday at 6.30PM and then play Geevagh/St Michaels on Thursday at 7.15PM in Geevagh.

The U16 girls play St Mary's in Riverstown Park on Tuesday at 7.00PM.

The U13 boys A team play Drumcliffe/Rosses Point away on Wednesday at 7.00PM and then take on St John's away next Sunday at 7pm. The U13 C team had a good 7-13 to 4-5 win over Easkey last Friday. The team was Sean McMorrow, Keelan Hughes, Éanna Candon, Eoin McMorrow, Dylan Leydon, Karl Barlow, Daire Regan, Marc Kenny, Oisin Conway, Aaron Brehony, Darragh Quigley subs used Dylan McMorrow, Harry Brehony. They now play St Farnans away on Friday at 6.30PM.

The U12 girls drew a tightly contested game against Geevagh/St Michaels last Friday on a scoreline of 5 scores each. The girls gave an excellent team performance showing fantastic spirit and improvement. The team was: Savannah Cox, Eva Callaghan, Lauren Orr, Ciara Byrne, Lana Hughes, Nevaeh Cassidy, Ciara Scanlon, Abbie McTiernan, Casey McLoughlin, Maebh Tonry, Sinéad Gilligan, Rebecca Garry, Alice Foley, Kate Flaherty.  The girls have a bye this week.

The U11 boys play Coolera/Strandhill on Tuesday away at 7.00PM.
 
The U9 boys play Coolera/Strandhill on Wednesday away at 7.00PM.

Well done to the Ballad group and Instrumental music group who represented Sligo in the Connacht Scor on Sunday. The girls played and sang brilliantly but unfortunately did not win. The Ballad group was: Meabh Harte, Aisling Little, Ava Kennedy, Anna Bagnall and Ellen Coen. The Instrumental music group was Anna Bagnall, Amy Bagnall, Aisling Little, Lisa Golden and Ava Kennedy. Thanks to Catherine Tuohy and Trish Kennedy for the work with the girls over the last number of weeks.
 
We will be having a used clothes collection in May so now is the time to start the spring clean. All items accepted in an unsoiled condition, clothes, shoes, towels, sheets, curtains, teddies and bags Items not accepted include pillows or duvets. Last date for dropping bags will be 20th May. Bags can be left into clubhouse at any time training or games are on. 

If you have any club gear that is gone to small and still in good condition you can contact Michelle 0876157455 to get it reused within the club.

The club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Bernadette Keane, Branchfield, Ballymote and Pauline Sheridan, Lavally, Ballintogher who passed away last week.
