Our U.17 GSTM made it two wins from three in the Championship with a high scoring win over Tubbercurry/ Cloonacool on Monday night last. Played in warm conditions the sides went in at the break on level terms (3.07 to 2.10), our lads two goals coming from Oisin. Our Lads scored 2.02 without reply in the 2nd half to go into the driving seat. Despite two black cards late in the game our lads emerged victorious on an 8.15 to 3.18 Final score line.

Their next championship outing is at home in Ballintogher to Curry at 7pm.

Our Senior Men secured three valuable league points with a 5 point away victory over “amalgamation buddies “St Michael’s’ on Saturday evening last. Played in wet & windy conditions, our lads took hold of this game early on, they lead at half time 1.04 to 0.03. Our lads dominated large periods of the 2nd half and ultimately took all three points on a 1.08 to 1.03 final score line.

Our U.15 GSTM Boys were defeated by Ballymote/ Bunninadeen in Rd 3 of their Championship. Despite missing a number of players through injury and holidays this was a spirited display and a game our lads could have one in the end as they missed a few goal chances in the 2nd half.

Our U.10 Girls played out a lively game with Eastern Harps on Thursday night last. Despite the damp conditions both sides served up a great entertaining game.

Congratulations to Jade Gabiddon and her Sligo LGFA Minor Girls on the Connacht Championship victory over Roscommon.
