Well done to the DRP senior women's gaelic footballers who recorded a good win over St John's at Stenson Park last Saturday in the Sligo LGFA Spring League. The first team will continue their Connacht Gold Division 1 league campaign this Sunday morning with a trip to south Sligo to play Tourlestrane at 10:30am.

Our senior men's footballers were narrowly beaten by St Molaise Gaels in the Spring League at Oxfield on Saturday evening, on a final scoreline of 1-8 to 0-9. Next up for the seniors is a home match against Calry/St Joseph's this Saturday evening at 7pm.

Commiserations to our county U20 quartet of Ross Chambers, James Donlon, RĂan O'Callaghan, Paul O'Brien and the Sligo under 20 team, whose run in the Connacht championship came to and at the semi-final stage against Galway last Wednesday.

Good luck to DRP's Daniel Oates and the Sligo minor gaelic footballers, who resume their Connacht championship campaign this Friday evening with a trip to Dr Hyde Park to play Roscommon at 7pm.

This Thursday's Club Lotto Jackpot stands at €6,700.
