Well done to the Sligo team and management and Gaels players, David Quinn, Daniel Lyons, Sean Carroll, Evan Lyons and Lee Deignan on winning the Division 4 final last weekend and the best of luck next weekend in London.
The Senior team had a good 2-8 to 1-6 win over Coolera/Strandhill in the Spring League. The Junior game was postponed and now takes place on Friday 7th away to St Farnans at 7PM.
The Senior ladies had a difficult start to the league, losing 5-13 to 2-8 to CT Gaels. The Gaels were well in this game at half time, however three quick goals early in the second half left them with a mountain to climb.
The U18 girls lost the opening game of the league to St John's on a scoreline of 3-7 to 5-6. The team was: Hannah Hargadon, Sarah McKeon, Sophia Rose Henry, Leah Mullaney, Sophie Swan, Meabh Callaghan, Ciara Gilligan, Hannah Willis, Amy Malone, Orlaith Scanlon, Emma Rainey, Hayley Mullaney and Hannah Rainey. They now play St Marys away on Thursday at 7.00PM.
The U18 boys had a good win in their first game over Owenmore Gaels. The team was: Sean Kelly, Oisin Conlon (0-1), Matthew Potter, Aaron Coleman (0-2), Jack Tuohy (0-1), Leo Scanlon, George Barlow (0-2), Daniel King (1-0), Sean Duffy (0-2), Steven Smith (1-0), Joris Rooney, James Foley (2-1), Jack Barrett (2-0). They have a bye this week.
The U16 girls lost 3-9 to 1-8 to Eoghan Rua last week. The team was: Hannah Hargadon, Katie Gilligan, Ava Lyons, Marisa Hamilton, Leah Mullaney, Sophia Rose Henry, Penny Barlow, Ciara Gilligan 0-2, Aoibhinn Conlon, Hannah Rainey, Orlaith Scanlon 0-6, Ava Kennedy Isabelle Clancy, Hayley Mullaney 1-1, Katelyn Costello. Subs used Aisling Dwyer, Aaleasha Sweeney. They now play Curry away on Tuesday at 6.15PM.
The U15 boys lost 4-13 to 3-4 to a strong St Molaise Gaels side in the opening game of the league. They now play Eastern Harps on Monday at 6.30PM in Riverstown Park.
 The U13 boys A team defeated Drumcliffe/Rosses Point 7-3 to 3-3 in their first league game. The team was: Dáire Regan, Cormac Cunnane, Philip McManus, Leon McMorrow, Karl Barlow, Eli Cassidy, Eoin McMorrow, Alan Óg Henry, Luke Fitzpatrick, Dylan McMorrow, Sam Rainey, Diarmuid Duffy, Noah Caliendo, Harry Brehony, Marc Kenny, Aaron Brehony. They now play St John's on Tuesday at home at 6.30PM.
The U13 C team had a busy week. They lost 3-7 to 2-11 to Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on Wednesday. The team was: Cillian Doherty, Nathan McManus, Eanna Candon, Oisin Conway, Eoin McMorrow, Dylan Leydon, Marc Kenny, Karl Barlow, Sean McMorrow, Aaron Brehony, Shane Henry, Daire Regan, Darragh Quigley. They then defeated Coolaney /Mullinabreena 3-11 to 2-9 on Friday. The team was: Seán McMorrow, Nathan McManus, Éanna Candon, Sean Cogan, Dáire Regan, Eoin McMorrow, Karl Barlow, Dylan Leydon Cillian Doherty, Marc Kenny, Oisin Conway, Shane Henry, Aaron Brehony, Darragh Quigley and Keelan Hughes. They now plat St Pats on Friday at 6.15PM at home.
The U12 girls had a good 17-3 win over Eoghan Rua on Friday. The team was: Savannah Cox, Lauren Orr, Lana Hughes, Amy Edwards, Neveah Cassidy, Rebecca Garry, Ciara Scanlon, Sinead Gilligan, Abbie McTiernan, Meabh Tonry, Ciara Byrne, Casey McLoughlin and Alice Foley. They now play Geevagh away on Friday at 7.00PM.
The Saturday morning coaching has resumed every week in Shamrock Gaels Park. The U6 and U7 boys and girls at 9.45AM to 1030AM, the U9 boys 10.00AM to 11.00AM and U10 girls 10.30AM to 11.00Am. All new players are welcome - contact Michelle Mc Morrow on 087 6157455.
Our Gaelic for Mothers and others team are back training on 17th April in Riverstown Park at 7.45PM - all new members welcome, with or without experience.
The numbers drawn in this week's lotto were 2, 10, 17 and 18. There was no jackpot winner and we had one match 3 winner, John Devaney. The jackpot now moves to €4,800 with the next draw on Monday 10th April.
