Hard luck to our Senior Mens teams who suffered tough defeats this week in their respective division 2 and division 3 leagues against Enniscrone/Kilglass and St. Michael's.
We wish both teams the best of luck in their 6th round this week, division 2 v Bunninadden (Away) Saturday July 6th @7pm and division 3 v Drumcliffe/Rosses Point (Away) Sunday July 7th @2pm.
Our U16 girls are to take on Geevagh for a spot in the shield final Monday night July 1st in Geevagh @7pm. We wish you the best of luck and hope to see plenty of support on the night.
The U13 boys took part in a 5-a-side blitz this week, organised by Sligo GAA in Scarden. We had two teams entered and both sides performed brilliantly on the night but unfortunately ended up losing out to St. John's in the Shield semi final. The boys displayed some serious skills on the night spelling great things for the upcoming championship starting this week Monday 1st July (Away) v Enniscrone/Kilglass @7pm.
Our U18 boys team are also beginning their Championship campaign Wednesday night July 3rd @6.30pm away to St. Mary's.
Good luck to both the U13s and U15s and their coaches for the championship ahead.
The club wants to congratulate Canice Mulligan and Ella Boland on their first seasons with Sligo's adult teams. Well done and we hope you both have continued success next year.
Well done to Lauren Cadden for coming first in her heat for 400m sprints and for placing 3rd in the National Championship Finals.
