The u13 boys had a comprehensive 5-10 to 1-05 win over Molaise Gaels in the u13C plate semi-final held in Seamie Donegan Park on Monday evening the 9th. A very physical encounter but the Pat's lads led from the start and pushed on to seal the win. They play Easkey in the final this Wednesday so best of luck to players and management.

The u13 girls of Farnans/Pats started off their autumn league with a 2-19 to 2-10 win. The girls put on a serious show of brilliant football and now get ready to play Geevagh/ St Michael's away this Tuesday.

The u15 boys played their semi-final of the championship away to Curry Tuesday last. The boys came up against a very strong Curry side on the night and missed out on a place in the final. Well done to players and management on a fantastic season.

Our Junior mens team played at home to Owenmore Gaels this week for round 3 of championship Friday last. Unfortunately, they lost out to the travelling side on this occasion marking the end of their championship journey this year. Well done on a tough season.

The junior ladies continued their championship against CT Gaels on Saturday evening last in damp conditions in Seamie Donegan Memorial Park. A highly entertaining contest which saw some fabulous scoring from both teams. Unfortunately, the pats ladies came up short and lost out by 2 points. The ladies are out again this Saturday away to Tourlestrane.

The intermediate men were back in championship action on Sunday against Coolaney/Mullinabreena in St Brendans park in Castleconnor. A very tight encounter in which scores were hard to come by. The lads lost out by a single score. They look forward to the final group game of the intermediate championship against Eastern Harps in two weeks time with progression from group stages still a possibility.

Well done to Alex McElhinney and his teammates in Coolera/Strandhill on their victory in the u13 hurling final against Easkey this weekend.

The club would like to extend their sympathies to the families of Mary Meehan and Margaret Fallon who passed away in recent days. Especially to Mary's grandchildren Matthew and Anna Johnson and to Margaret's grandchildren Augustine and James Clarke who are all playing members of the club. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anam.

Our next 50/50 draw takes place tomorrow Monday 2nd of September, one lucky winner will receive a guaranteed cash prize. Thank you all for your continued support. Tickets on sale in local business or you can get them through our club spot app.
