We are hosting a Drug and Alcohol awareness workshop tomorrow evening, Monday 24th March, in partnership with the GAA and the Drug & Alcohol Task Forces. The workshop is at 8PM in Sligo Folk Park and is open to parents, coaches and club members who want to support young athletes and their well-being.
We will be hosting an Easter Camp in Riverstown Park on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th April from 10AM to 2PM for boys and girls from 6 to 12years old. Cost is €25 and pre-registration is essential. To register please contact Michelle McMorrow on 087 6157455.
The season is now up and running after the winter break with our Ladies team first to return to competition against Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in the ACL with the Gaels finishing on top on a scoreline of 4-4 to 2-8. The men's Spring league kicks off next Saturday 29th with our Junior team taking on Tourlestrane at home at 6.00PM while on Sunday our Senior team take on Coolera/Strandhill at home at 2.00PM.
The U18 girls get their league campaign up and running on Tuesday with St Nathys providing the opposition at 6pm in Shamrock Gaels Park.

With games now started, all players and coaches need to have renewed their membership before they can return to play.
Thanks to all who supported what was a great night at our Dinner Dance last Saturday evening. The annual player of the year awards were presented with the Karl Galvin U20 player of the year award going to Daniel King presented by Lisa Galvin on behalf of the Galvin family, the Connolly Family Cup for Junior player of the year went to James Carroll and was presented by Michael Brennan on behalf of the Connolly family. The Vincent Boyd Cup for senior player of the year was presented to Oisin Conlon by Andy Kearns on behalf of the Boyd family. The Davina Duncan Cup for Ladies player of the year went to Isobel Clark. We also made special presentations on the night to former chairperson, Lauri Quinn for his contribution to the Club, Evan Lyons to recognise his selection on the Tailteann Cup in 2024 and Club President Tommy Deignan made a special presentation to Johnny Kenny in recognition of his recent success on the national stage.
Well done to Conor McMorrow and Sean Carroll who won a Junior colleges title with DCU last week.
