Hard luck to the Sligo hurlers who lost out narrowly to Roscommon last Saturday (2-15 to 2-13) in their concluding Division 3 league game in Bekan. There were two DRP men on the Sligo league squad: Paul O'Brien and Thomas Davis.

The inaugural DRP Walkathon will take place at Oxfield on Good Friday, April 18th, from 4pm to Easter Saturday, April 19th , at 4pm. We are looking for 24 groups of 10 walkers to take a one-hour walking slot on the Easter weekend, to help raise funds for the club. Sponsorship cards will be distributed to participating walkers - but most of all, it's going to be good fun. If you'd like to organise a group of walkers, or join an existing group, contact Niall on 0872678226.

Last week's DRP Club Lotto numbers were: 2, 19, 29, 30. There was no Jackpot or Match 3 winners. Congrats to €25 Lucky Dip winner, Kevin McGlynn Jnr. This Thursday’s Jackpot still stands at €7000. It's going to be won one of these days. If you're not in, you can't win. To enter, visit drp.gaa.ie.

We extend out condolences to the Cummins family and wider connections  following the passing last week of our former club player Glynn Cummins. The numbers who attended his wake in Cartronmore last week was an lovely reflection of the affection so many people had for him.
